We will offer a selection of practices from Thich Nhat Hanh’s Plum Village tradition- offers to facilitate are welcome, please email Jan HERE who is co-ordinating the practice schedule for the day.
Lunch is an opportunity for us to practice mindful eating together enjoying a vegan potluck. The Plum Village Monasteries all serve vegan food (nothing that is derived from another living being, including honey). So we are invited to bring vegan food to share – there are many thousands of recipes online and there are usually vegan versions of familiar favourites, different types of salads, dips and desserts – it doesn’t have to be fancy!

There will be an opportunity to offer donations, also known as the practice of ‘dana’ (giving) – one of the Six Paramitas. All donations will be going to Magnolia Grove Monastery’s dining hall renovation fund.
